About Me

To start I would just like to say hello and thank you for checking out my little blog slash portfolio.  I have set this page up mainly to demonstrate my animation and modeling techniques as well as a few other things I have learned.  At first glance for anyone who is in the industry i am sure that everything you see here will not be all that impressive.  Sadly as of the past few years since graduating form college I have focused more on the jub that is paying my school bills then the job I truly wish to have.

I recently have decided to just give it a go and see what i can accomplish with what i have.  So the following is a simply a portfolio showing the work i did mainly for a company called Everfire Studios.  While working for this company I started as a simple environment animator.  this particular job lasted only for a few months due to "restructuring" of the company.  Afterwards i was placed in the position of Lead Animator and then moved onto Assistant Product Owner.

With that being said I want to point out that i spent only eight months with the company.  In that short time i however was part of a small group of people who work on what could have been a good game.  Cyber Solstice was a simple shooter designed for the Ouya Console.  I managed to learn a lot about animation and 3D modeling.  Not only that but about the work flow needed to complete projects and the amount of time that is needed to do so.

Not just from a personal stand point but also from the stand point of a leader.  All in all the experience was very good even if the game was never really finished.  It was however released in an alpha stage on the Ouya and had been reviewed.  Everything you see following this is based mainly off the skill I had to develop on my own over a very short period of time.  I am very apt at teaching myself how to do things, and to top it off i am highly motivated as well.
